Specialist aerial services across Canterbury and the South Island.

Skyfarmers Aviation serves farmers, growers, and land managers with precision aerial topdressing, crop and pasture spraying, and fire-fighting support. Our two 750hp turbine Air Tractor aircraft are configured for both fertiliser spreading and spraying, equipped with GPS mapping, variable rate technology, and electronic load recording. Experienced, certified pilots. Every job tracked and documented.

Aerial Topdressing

Accurate, Spreadmark certified fertiliser spreading across all terrain - from steep hill country to irrigated plains. We spread superphosphates, lime, high-analysis fertilisers, trace elements, slug bait, boron, and custom blends at both low and high application rates. Variable Rate Technology available.

Aerial Spraying

Precision spray application for vegetable crops, pasture management, matagouri control, and herbicide programmes. Our CP Flat Fan nozzle systems and GPS-integrated flow control deliver consistent, accurate coverage - with adjustable droplet size to suit the product and conditions.

Fire Fighting

Skyfarmers Aviation is contracted to Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) on an as-required basis. Our aircraft and pilots have attended many of the South Island's significant fire events over our decades of operation.

GPS Mapping & Proof of Placement

We use Tabula GPS mapping across our entire fleet, providing accurate proof of placement records for every job. We can receive maps from major agronomy platforms, or create maps on your behalf - including hazards, exclusion zones, and sensitive areas.
