Our GPS Mapping

Skyfarmers Aviation uses Tabula (formerly Tracmap) GPS mapping systems across our entire fleet.

Tabula is the industry-standard mapping and recording platform for agricultural aviation in New Zealand. It records every application in real time, manages hazards and exclusion zones, and integrates with major agronomy platforms - underpinning the accuracy, traceability, and safety of every job we fly.

Proof of Placement

Every application - whether topdressing or spraying - is recorded in real time by the GPS system, generating accurate proof of placement records for your farm management documentation, Good Agricultural Practice compliance, and any regulatory requirements.

Hazard Management

Maps can display known hazards including powerlines, communication towers, and other obstacles - visible to the pilot throughout every operation. This information is a key component of safe, precise low-level flying across varied terrain.

Exclusion & Sensitive Zones

Buffer zones, waterways, organic areas, neighbouring crops, and other sensitive locations can be mapped and enforced within the system. This gives you, your agronomist, and your certifying body confidence that applications stay precisely where they're intended.

Variable Rate Prescription Mapping

Prescription maps can be loaded directly into the GPS system, allowing the aircraft to automatically adjust application rates across different zones within a single paddock.

Your agronomist sends maps to us - we accept boundary and prescription maps from Hawkeye, MyBallance, and Precision Farming

We create maps for you - if you don't have maps in any system, we can create them based on your property information
